Challenge

The client already had the principal furniture pieces in place, but the living room and hallway lacked a cohesive design direction. The challenge was to bring the existing scheme together without replacing the main furniture, while introducing warmth, personality and a stronger sense of connection throughout the spaces.

Approach

The existing furniture formed the foundation of the scheme, with the design focused on the pieces needed to complete and elevate the space. Coffee tables, an accent chair, decorative and architectural lighting, artwork and accessories were carefully sourced to complement the existing pieces.

A warm, neutral palette was layered with natural textures, sculptural forms and subtle earthy tones to introduce a relaxed Mediterranean-inspired feel, while maintaining a refined and contemporary aesthetic suitable for a modern family home.

Solution

The finished living room and hallway feel cohesive, warm and intentionally styled, with the existing furniture brought together through a considered selection of new pieces and decorative elements.
